Some things to keep in mind:

1.  Choose the right resin for your project

2.  Cast your resin projects in a warm room

3.  Warm your resin before casting it

4.  Mix carefully and deliberately

5.  Make sure the surface you are working on is also warm

6.  Dust the working surface of your mold with baby powder - if you are usig a colored resin, you can dust with a matching colored mica.  Use a small paint brush to dust the surface of your mold and tap out any excess powder...you can also spray your molds with a "mold release" product.

7.  Pour in a thin stream and roll the resin around your mold before filling the mold completely

8.  If you are using a very intricate mold, pick it up several times while it is drying and try to "demold it"...this will help release air bubbles

9.  Dip any inclusions in resin beore putting them into your mold/bezel - this also helps to break surface tension

10.  Once you have cast all your resin, go over it a final time with a heat source to pop any bubbles.

11.  To demold, twist and push your creation from the mold

12.  Use wet/dry sand paper to smooth edges, if needed

Create often....make your own beauty!
